Cancer, as many things in life, goes through many cycles and processes. While the body is being either naturally or artificially equipped to fight it, many changes happen both chemically and physiologically to achieve this.
Such as in this piece, life and the management of this disease, many things happen spontaneously and sporadically without explanation, while others happen with sharp accuracy. Maturity, coming of age and the overwhelming fear of the world collapsing around us…
These broken and recurrent natural and experiential cyclic experiences have been important in the conception of much of the musical and artistic work of this piece and all the work I’ve been engaging with recently.
